New Canadian Food Entrepreneurship Program

Thank you for your interest in participating in Northumberland County's New Canadian Food Entrepreneurship Workshop 2024.

During this free workshop, New Canadians are invited participate and compete to turn their small batch recipe into a scalable recipe for retail sale! Learn how to finance, package, label, and market your own food product with the help of the Ontario Agri-Food Venture Centre (OAFVC).

Hybrid (virtual and in person) classes start Monday, October 14^th, 2024. Food production will take place on-site at the OAFVC in Colborne in November/January.

This program is fully supported by Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada and offered at no cost to all qualified candidates.
